Noble Cups - with Sterling Silver
The 4 Noblemen, or 4 Gentlemen, are a group of four different plants that are highly prized in eastern Asian cultures, with each plant representing one of the four seasons: plum blossoms represent winter, orchids represent spring, bamboo represents summer, and chrysanthemums represent autumn. Each plant also has various symbolic meanings, such as plum blossoms representing hope, orchids representing beauty, bamboo representing strength, and chrysanthemums representing longevity.
Our new Noble Cups feature these four designs and are hand-crafted and hand-painted in Dehua County, an area world-renown for its quality of porcelain ware. These cups have a porcelain exterior and sterling silver interior.
Able to hold approximately 3.7 ounces (or 110 mL), these cups are available individually or in a boxed set with all four designs.
*Please note that these tea cups are hand-painted, so the designs shown in these photos may not exactly match the design on any cup that you may order.
