Name: Mei Gui Wu-Long (Oolong) Tea
Cultivar: Qing Xin Da Mao and Da Ye Wu Long
The tea plants used to make the Mei Gui Wu-Long (Oolong) were transplanted from Taiwan to southern Fujian by a Taiwanese tea master over 30 years ago. Mei Gui in mandarin means “rose,” but this Wu-Long tea doesn’t actually have any part of the rose plant in it. The name Mei Gui was given because of the natural flavor and aroma of this high grade tea.
