Ginseng Chai

Ingredients: Organic loose leaf white tea leaves with organic freshly-ground and hand-blended ginger, cardamon, fennel, cinnamon, peppercorn, clove, star anise, ginseng and cumin.
Name: Ginseng Chai 九香茶

We introduced our Chai in April of 2015. Our Ginseng Chai is made up of eight different 100% organic spices that are ground in-house, along with our organic white tea Leaves (which have been oxidized and fermented into red tea, which is like black tea) and organic powdered ginseng root. The eight spices and ginseng are nutritious and warming for the body, but also add another layer of flavor complexity when paired with the tea leaves. This chai is smoother and milder with a more balanced flavor than the chai that we tend to encounter in the US, and our chai also doesn’t have any sugar or dairy. Each package of chai contains ten bags of tea, which can be brewed three to four times on average, yielding approximately thirty to forty cups of tea per package.
