Tea in the News: Tea is just as hydrating as water

In a recent study, volunteers were asked to drink either four cups of tea or four cups of warm water. The volunteers were then tested for common markers of hydration including electrolytes, total protein, urea, creatinine, and osmolality. After the data was assessed by a professional statistician, the research team found no significant difference between the group that drank tea and the group that drank water, leading to the conclusion that tea is just as hydrating as water.
